Dr. Oshtory founded the Pacific Heights Spine Center in 2011 and has been providing the best possible orthopaedic and spinal care to his patients in San Francisco ever since. He understands how painful and debilitating spinal conditions can be and believes everyone who comes to his office deserves a comfortable and pleasant experience throughout their treatment.
He began his academic career at MIT, where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He earned his MD and MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles before specializing in orthopaedic surgery at Stanford University. He completed his fellowship in spine surgery at Stanford University Medical Center and St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco. He also served as a clinical instructor at Stanford.
Dr. Oshtory’s special interests are minimally-invasive surgery, cervical spine surgery, spinal deformity surgery, and biomedical device technology. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national meetings. He is a member of the North American Spine Society. Dr. Oshtory has also received the prestigious Top Doctor award from Castle Connolly.

mULTIDISCIPLINARY AND INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MANAGEMENT
Dr. Ng has been in practice in the Bay Area since 2009. He specializes in non-surgical treatment of neck and back pain, as well as other painful conditions, including complex regional pain syndrome. He performs various diagnostic and treatment procedures, such as EMG and nerve conduction studies, epidural injections, and medial branch radiofrequency ablations. Dr. Ng helps patients manage chronic pain with an integrative approach, without a life depending on pain medications. He and his wife, also a physician, have a daughter and live in San Francisco.
Dr. Ng works with you to evaluate your history and symptoms before he conducts comprehensive tests, such as x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. He encourages you to ask questions and research further information so you understand potential outcomes, as well as what you can do to help speed recovery.
